This is the ultimate fantasy booking game. The goal is to create the best WrestleMania card possible – not necessarily to predict what WWE will do. That means we must play by the rules of our current reality. Everyone comes in their current (physical, emotional, psychological, etc.) state. Bottom line, if Vince McMahon can do it, we can do it.
We’re entering Round 2 of Mayhem Mania. So, we can finally say that Mayhem Mania is in full swing, right? Is it too soon? Who cares. I’m debating myself. (more…)
Monday Mayhem Show 8/26/19: It’s 2019 and We Can Headbutt Samoans
Mad Mike, Tina, Sorg and Ring Announcer Nick Farrah are talking wrestling including Tina and Alex’s experiences with New Japan Pro Wrestling on the West Coast in Washington and California, AEW tickets in Pittsburgh, Baron Corbin’s kingly look, Bobby Roode and Dolph Ziggler, Samon representation in Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw and more!
We are joined by Lady Frost and her Savage Gentleman for this week’s episode. The pair is fresh off their recent travels, but take a break in preparations for their appearance on the upcoming Blackcraft Wrestling event to join us for some wrestling chat. They are joined by our mayhem crew of Sorg, Bobby F J-Town, and Rizz as we talk about:
SummerSlam happened. We’re sharing some thoughts – including some MMA talk WITH the Savage Gentleman (who is a former MMA talent himself).
Ronda Rousey has gone from MMA to wrestling – just like our in-studio guest the Savage Gentleman.
Everyone’s quick to judge Ronda Rousey, but you can’t look at the current women’s revolution without giving her props.
MMA was against having a women’s division – but look at how much women have changed the sport.
Although Ronda Rousey may be “new” to WWE, she paid her dues in MMA and has built her legacy.
Putting a wrestler in the octagon does not have the same reaction as putting an MMA fighter in the ring.
Matt Riddle gets to do what he loves – wrestling.
Speaking of the women’s Evolution, Ronda Rousey is going to make an impact.
You can’t discredit someone’s natural abilities.
Alexa Bliss vs Trish Stratus at Evolution? We. Can’t. Wait.
The Savage Gentleman and Lady Frost are sharing how much they LOVED the first match of NXT Takeover Brooklyn.
Different kinds of wrestling are like different flavors of ice cream. Everyone has their own preferences.
Settling an in-house debate: Do you watch Facebook videos with or without sound?
Table for 3 is all about Twitter. Mayhem Show is all about Facebook.
Velveteen Dream going totally Rick Rude with his “Call Me Up Vince” tights = Priceless.
We’re pretty much learning that what’s old is new again.
We’re talking some Ciampa v Johnny Gargano from NXT Takeover Brooklyn.
Demon Balor on SummerSlam seemed to go over more for the ladies than the gents.
So….Baron Corbin.
WWE is getting super techy with their 3D integrations.
This week’s big question: What is your dream match for WWE Evolution?
There’s a wrestling show coming up with a new group in town with Blackcraft Wrestling. Our guests the Savage Gentleman and Lady Frost will be on the show, and they’re telling us all about it!
The Savage Gentleman might be cutting a promo on the show?
Lady Frost and the Savage Gentleman are sharing some happenings from their recent travels.
What did YOU learn in wrestling this week?
Shout out to Brutal Bob Evans from our in-studio crew. <3
Thanks to Basick Sickness (@basicksickness) for the awesome intro for the show.

Mayhem Mania 2018: Patreon In The Bank
This. is. Mayhem Mania!
Not quite a game. Not really a contest. More like a competitive thought experiment. The object is to create the best WrestleMania card possible – NOT necessarily to predict what WWE will do.
This is not fantasy booking. It’s more like reality booking. Any match created must have at least a chance of happening in this year’s WrestleMania. That means all wrestlers come in their current physical, emotional and contractual state. Anyone selected for a match must have a reasonable chance of being hired by WWE to appear on the real-life WrestleMania card.
Simply put, you’re Vince McMahon with infinite cash and no self-control.
It all comes down to this. After more than two months, Mayhem Mania 2018 has reached its final stop: the epic Patreon In The Bank round! Only Patreon supporters of the Wrestling Mayhem Show were invited to participate and I’m happy to report that we had eight of them take the time to joins us live during Episode 613 of the Wrestling Mayhem Show.
It’s our SummerSlam Eve show, and we’ve got Sorg, Chad the Shad, Larry, and Mad Mike on air talking some wrestling. We have a lot to talk about, including:
MutilatorLarry is back!
Unfortunately there’s no Magnum CK in studio tonight – BUT, he WILL be in studio on Friday for an Indy Mayhem recording.
Sorg did something else, guys. www.pittsburghwrestling.com
There’s A LOT of wrestling in the Pittsburgh area.
Mad Mike missed Smackdown Live because he was busy slinging toys. (Likely story.)
Because Mad Mike missed Smackdown Live, we just broke his heart telling him about the Jinder/Cena/Corbin ender.
SummerSlam’s this weekend. Maybe we should share some things about that?
Samoa Joe has finally hit his stride on RAW.
It looks like we’re headed for another shake-up given the shenanigans and weird stuff, right?
Looks like Adam Cole is headed to NXT.
We have a new toy alert from Mad Mike – an entire WWE Women line of action figures. #MadMikeApproved
Bray Wyatt may not win many matches, but he does a great job putting people over.
It’s Big Question time! What international city should have a PPV. It’s been a while since SummerSlam in London.
We may or may not have just booked an RVD v Val Venis match in Amsterdam.
We’re talking some NXT Takeover.
We’re asking for an Adam Cole v. Bobby Roode match.
Bobby Roode and The Miz feud? (Yes, please!)
Why is every title holder in NXT undefeated? Can we get some originality?
Will we be seeing an Asuka v Ronda Rousey match in the near future?

Wrestling Mayhem Show 579: Fluent in Cockney
It’s the last Mayhem Show in the Mayhem Studio. But, before the crew moves to the new studio, we’ve got one last hurrah for Wrestling Mayhem Show 579. Sorg, Chad, Larry, MadMike, Matt, Bobby, and a special birthday boy (Rizz) get together to reminisce about our time in the studio and to talk about what’s happening in wrestling these days:
Mad Mike is the Center Square.
There’s a PPV this weekend guys!
Rizz is so happy about the Punjabi Prison Match. It’s like WWE knew it was his birthday!
Is it “poops” “liver enzyme” or “steroids?” We’re not sure what we’re talking about either.
More stipulations?
Larry is calling out John Cena on his geography.
All you need to know is John Cena and Ruzev and you’ll be okay.
Is The Rock running for President?
Are we getting a Shinsuke v. AJ Styles match in our future? The mayhemmers are weighing in.
We’re running down the WWE-related people who are running for various offices these days. More than we realize.
Nakamura v. Corbin in a hair-vs-hair match?
We may be playing Hollywood Squares in the new studio.
Talking Smack is still on for PPV shows. We’re happy that it’s not totally cancelled.
Thank goodness Matt came in to settle this argument between MadMike and Sorg.
Sorg and some of the guys checked out the Stomp Out Cancer show this past weekend. He’s sharing some good stuff.
When the words David Otunga come out of your mouth, you’ve lost your argument.
This week’s Big Question is brought to us by Birthday Boy Rizz: What is your favorite in-studio Mayhem Show memory?

Mayhem Mania 2017: Patreon In The Bank!!!
This. is. Mayhem Mania!
Not quite a game. Not really a contest. More like a competitive thought experiment. The object is to create the best WrestleMania card possible – NOT necessarily to predict what WWE will do.
This is not fantasy booking (even though it kind of is). Any match created must be possible in real life. That means all wrestlers come in their current physical, emotional and contractual state. Anyone selected for a match must have a reasonable chance of being hired by WWE to appear on the real-life WrestleMania card. Simply put, you’re Vince McMahon with infinite cash and no self-control.
Many weeks ago, we started our journey by creating 8 matches for our card. Then, we started making changes…and more changes…and even more changes. It wasn’t always pretty. Here’s where you can catch up on what happened during Round 1, Round 2, Round 3, Round 4, Round 5, Round 6, Round 7 and Round 8. Any match that survived 3 rounds of Mayhem Mania without being altered in any way, GRADUATED to the SUPERCARD, creating room for new and even more fantastic match ideas. This process led to three graduated matches.
All this hard work and hurt feelings led to the epic Patreon In The Bank round of Mayhem Mania, in which the Patreon supporters of the Wrestling Mayhem Show were invited to make multiple changes, fast-track matches to the SUPERCARD and much more. (more…)
