Mayhem Mania 2021: Round 2

It must be Mayhem Mania season!

Every year, we bring together fans, wrestlers and other folks. Our goal is to construct the BEST WrestleMania card that’s currently possible. Everyone under a WWE contract is eligible to use, as are those who are within the orbit of WWE’s influence. If Vince McMahon can do it, we can do it!

If you’re just tuning in, here’s how we got to this point.
Mayhem Mania 2021 – Opening Round
Mayhem Mania 2021 – Round 1

Not every WWE wrestler is eligible to us. Under the rules of Mayhem Mania, everyone comes in their current physical, emotional and contractual state. That means anyone out with an injury is NOT eligible to use. (We are ignoring COVID-19 diagnoses because this is supposed to be a fun diversion, not a reminder of the terrible things happening around us.)

Others are not eligible to use for a different reason. Some of them are locked in SPACE JAIL. We added to our inmate population before Round 2 of Mayhem Mania 2021. Winners of our Royal Rumble contest got “tickets” to lock away individuals they don’t want to see.

Mad Mike sent Goldberg to SPACE JAIL
Tina Keys sent Randy Orton to SPACE JAIL
Dave Podnar sent Charlotte Flair to SPACE JAIL

SPACE JAIL is not a life sentence. A lucky spin of our prize wheel can free one of them, and that’s exactly what happened before Round 2. The prize wheel freed Goldberg moments after he was put in SPACE JAIL. There’s no “double jeopardy” so Goldberg can not be locked up again during Mayhem Mania 2021.

Here’s who is still in SPACE JAIL and not eligible to be use, at least for now.

* “Cell numbers” correspond with the numbers on our prize wheel

5 players were invited onto the Wrestling Mayhem Show for Round 2 of Mayhem Mania 2021. Each can make ONE of the following changes to our card:

– SWAP one wrestler or team with one in another match on the card or replace them with a wrestler or team not currently on the card
– ADD a wrestler or team to an existing match
– DELETE a match in its entirety and replace it with a new match using entirely new wrestlers
– MATCH SWAP: This year, we have a designated “cinematic match” slot on our card. A player can choose to swap an existing match on the card for the match currently in that “cinematic match” slot.

With all that business out of the way, let’s take a look at the changes made during Round TWO of Mayhem Mania 2021!

Move #1 (by Ronnie Starks)
SWAP Mercedes Martinez for Goldberg

Move #2 (by Tina Keys)
DELETE Imperium (Marcel Barthel & Fabian Aichner & Alexander Wolfe) vs. Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch & Pat McAfee and CREATE Raquel Gonzalez vs. Beth Phoenix

Move #3 (by Dave Podnar)
SWAP Drew McIntyre & Jinder Mahal for Daniel Bryan & Nikki Cross

Move #4 (by Chad The Shad)
ADD Ilja Dragunov to Samoa Joe vs. Kyle O’Reilly vs. Timothy Thatcher

Move #5 (by The Rizz)
SWAP Walter vs. Goldberg into the “cinematic match” slot

With Round 2 in the books, we now have FOUR new matches on our card.

Walter vs. Goldberg
(Created by ???)
(*Designated as “cinematic match”)

Raquel Gonzalez vs. Beth Phoenix
(Created by Tina Keys)

Bray Wyatt & Alexa Bliss vs. Daniel Bryan & Nikki Cross
(Created by ???)

Samoa Joe vs. Kyle O’Reilly vs. Timothy Thatcher vs. Ilja Dragunov
(Created by Chad The Shad)

The “???” after two of the matches listed above is because there is debate currently underway over who is the rightful creator of the matches that Rizz swapped in and out of the “cinematic match” slot. Should Rizz get credit for both matches (that would mean the Alex Kahrs Rule would be applied to Dave Podnar and Ronnie Starks because their move did not survive the round), or should the credit remain with the original creators of those matches? Please send us your feedback if you have any.

Here are the four matches that survived Round 2 without being changed.

Xavier Woods & Kofi Kingston & AJ Styles vs. Tyler Breeze & Adam Cole & Cesaro
(Created by The Rizz)

The IIconics vs. Riott Squad
(Created by Mad Mike)

Finn Balor vs. Karrion Kross vs. Aleister Black
(Created by Bobbyfjtown)

Pete Dunne vs. Keith Lee
(Created by Brandon)

If a match survives THREE rounds without being altered in any way, it will GRADUATE to our SUPERCARD. The creator of the match will receive rewards, including creating a new match to fill the open slot on our “undercard”. Our goal is to GRADUATE eight matches to our SUPERCARD by the time Mayhem Mania 2021 comes to an end.

What will happen next? The only way to find out is to keep following Mayhem Mania 2021!

Five tips for a healthy diet

Written by: Falon NeSmith

Five tips StreamMaintaining a healthy diet is important for your body’s overall health, reducing risk from many chronic noncommunicable diseases, such as diabetes, heart disease and cancer.  These are the best keto pills for weight loss.

In honor of National Nutrition Awareness Month, Amy Warriner, M.D., director of UAB Weight Loss Medicine and professor in the University of Alabama at Birmingham Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism, and Lizzy Davis, Ph.D., assistant professor with the UAB Department of Nutrition Sciences, share their top five tips for maintaining a healthy diet.

Choosing the right foods

It is important to choose foods for their nutrient content most of the time. Similarly, Warriner recommends choosing food for enjoyment only some of the time.

“It is important to know what nutrients are in foods and how to work those foods into your daily diet,” Warriner said. “If you do not know how to do this, talking with a registered dietitian can be very helpful.”

Davis says food is used more than just to sustain life — it is tied to culture, feelings, community, memories and more. Check out these cortexi reviews.

“For these reasons, it should be enjoyed some of the time,” Davis said. “Most of the time, choose foods that are nutrient-dense, meaning they provide a lot of nutrients for each serving size.”

Some examples include fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean meats, peas, beans and nuts.

“Typically, foods that are closer to their natural form are going to be nutrient-dense,” Davis said.

No food is bad food

There are no specific foods that you should or should not eat to be healthy. Balance is necessary, and all is OK in moderation and with balance.

“If you are eating a diet full of healthy vegetables and lean proteins, eating a treat every now and again is not harmful,” Warriner said. “Alternatively, if you are eating fast food for most meals, adding a protein shake is not going to make you healthier.” Learn more about liv pure.

Increase vegetable intake in your diet

Warriner says increasing the number of vegetables you eat is something most people struggle with. The recommended intake for vegetables is five to nine servings a day. Davis says roughly 9 percent of adults meet intake recommendations for vegetables.

“Try sneaking this in for breakfast and snacks, as typically these are eating times people aren’t consuming vegetables,” Davis said. “Mix a variety of vegetables in with your eggs, throw some in your hash browns, or sneak some into your muffin or pancake batter.”

Portion control is essential

Even if you are making healthy choices, you can eat too much of a good thing.

“Serve up one serving size at a time,” Davis said. “When you have a stopping point — besides the bottom of the bag, you make your brain stop and ask, ‘am I still hungry’? You can always go back for more if you want to.”

Do not give in to gimmicks

“If there were a miracle diet/supplement/vitamin, you wouldn’t be learning about it from social media first,” Warriner said.

Instead, she recommends using your money to buy nutritious meals.

This. Is. Mayhem Mania!

This is the ultimate fantasy booking game. The goal is to create the best WrestleMania card possible – not necessarily to predict what WWE will do. That means we must play by the rules of our current reality. Everyone comes in their current (physical, emotional, psychological, etc.) state. Bottom line, if Vince McMahon can do it, we can do it. This. is. Mayhem Mania!

Not quite a game. Not really a contest. More like a competitive thought experiment. The object is to create the best WrestleMania card possible – NOT necessarily to predict what WWE will do.

This is not fantasy booking. It’s more like reality booking. Any match created must have at least a chance of happening in this year’s WrestleMania. That means all wrestlers come in their current physical, emotional and contractual state. Anyone selected for a match must have a reasonable chance of being hired by WWE to appear on the real-life WrestleMania card.

Catch up with Mayhem Mania 2018: Week 1 – Week 2 – Week 3

Before we get into what’s happened, I must mention what’s coming next. We’ll be doing a special Viewer’s Choice move in our next round and instead of using fate to randomly choose which of your moves to use, we’ll be adding some skill into the mix with the ELIMINATION CHAMBER CHALLENGE!

Here’ how it works: When you send in your move, also give us your prediction for who will win Sunday’s men’s Elimination Chamber match and total time for the match (the tiebreaker will be decided by whoever came the closest without going over). We’ll reward the correct prediction by using your move in next week’s round. What a deal!

We had two players back for Week 4 of Mayhem Mania 2018 under the “Alex Kahrs Rule”, Kyle Turner andBobbyfjtown. All of our players can each make a single change to the card. They have three options.

1. SWAP a wrestler/tag team for one already on the card, or bring for a name not currently on the card.
2. ADD an unused wrestler/tag team to an existing match.
3. KILL a match AND CREATE an entirely new match with wrestlers not currently on the card.

Here’s how things shook out on Episode 608 of the Wrestling Mayhem Show.
