Mayhem Mania 2022 – Week 7
This. Is. Mayhem Mania!
It’s not just the ultimate fantasy booking challenge. It’s also a competitive thought experiment!
The object of Mayhem Mania is to craft the best WrestleMania card possible within the boundaries of our current reality. That means anyone WWE can book in a match is available to our players.
But this year, there’s a twist! Mayhem Mania 2022 is a two-night event! Night 1 will be the night for our traditional Mayhem Mania card featuring WWE-related matches. But on Night 2, we open the “forbidden door” and make it possible for our players to create matches with anyone outside of WWE.
Every week, we invite players to make a change to one of the matches on our cards. They can: – KILL a match entirely and CREATE a new one with other individuals – SWAP out an individual or team in a match for another individual or team – SWAP out an individual or team in a match with an individual or team in another match already on the card – ADD an individual or team to an existing match
Not everyone is currently eligible to be used in Mayhem Mania. Some are being held in a place we lovingly refer to as SPACE JAIL. Here’s the current inmate count:
Move #1 (by Ronnie Starks a.k.a. “Steve”) ADD Danhausen to The Fiend vs. “Joker” Sting
Move #2 (by Sorgatron) SWAP Jeff Hardy for Jay White
Move #3 (by Roni Nicole) KILL Zombie “Rick Rude” & Ricky Morton & Soultaker & Lord Zoltan vs. Dink & Swoggle & Sunny (1993) & The Executioner and CREATE Naomichi Marafuji & Taiji Ishimori vs. Minoru Suzuki & Tajiri
Move #4 (by Tina Keys) KILL AJ Lee & CM Punk vs. Dr. Britt Baker & Adam Cole and CREATE Bryan Danielson vs. Josh Alexander
Move #5 (by Mad Mike) SWAP Johnny Knoxville and Samoa Joe
So, with the moves from Week 6 of Mayhem Mania now in the books, let’s take a look at what our cards look like.
Night 1 (WWE) has two newly created matches.
Gunther vs. Johnny Knoxville (Created by Mad Mike)
David Arquette vs. Samoa Joe (Created by Mad Mike)
And we have four matches that survived the round without being altered in any way.
Cesaro vs. Dolph Ziggler (Created by Papa Judo)
Ronda Rousey vs. Meiko Satomura (Created by Mad Mike)
Corey Graves vs. Elias (Created by Sorgatron)
Beth Phoenix vs. Bianca Belair vs. Rhea Ripley vs. Raquel Gonzalez (Created by Dave Podnar)
Night 2 (Forbidden Door) has … newly created matches!
Danhausen vs. The Fiend vs. “Joker” Sting (Created by Ronnie Starks a.k.a. “Steve”)
Jay White vs. Darby Allin vs. Lee Moriarty (Created by Sorgatron)
Naomichi Marufuji & Taiji Ishimori vs. Minoru Suzuki & Tajiri (Created by Roni Nicole)

And there are two matches that were not altered in any way.

Mayhem Mania 2021: Round 6
It must be Mayhem Mania season!
Every year, we bring together fans, wrestlers and other folks. Our goal is to construct the BEST WrestleMania card that’s currently possible. Everyone under a WWE contract is eligible to use, as are those who are within the orbit of WWE’s influence. If Vince McMahon can do it, we can do it!
There are two “tiers” to Mayhem Mania. The 8-match “undercard”, where our players create and make changes to matches, and the SUPERCARD. To reach the SUPERCARD, a match must survive three rounds on the “undercard” without being altered in any way. So far, only one match has made it.
Mayhem Mania 2021 SUPERCARD
Raquel Gonzalez vs. Beth Phoenix (Created by Tina Keys)
That’s a pretty darn good match, but we still have a lot of work to do.
When a match graduates, its creator gets REWARDS! So, before Round 6 we had some business to take care of Tina.
First, she got to create a new match to fill the opening on our “undercard” left by the match that graduated. Tina created Big E vs. Bronson Reed.
Second, Tina got to book the first guest for the first-ever Mayhem Mania Watch Along! Tina decided to book Faye Jackson! Great choice!
Third, Tina got a ticket to send one individual to SPACE JAIL! Tina decided to send Asuka – by far, the most popular woman in the history of Mayhem Mania – to SPACE JAIL!
Tina said our players need to be challenged, and I really couldn’t agree more. Remember, hurt feelings are a key component of this process.
Anyone who is stuck in SPACE JAIL can NOT be booked in a match in Mayhem Mania. They can escape via a lucky spin of our prize wheel.
Under the rules of Mayhem Mania, everyone comes in their current physical, emotional and contractual state. That means anyone out with an injury is NOT eligible to use. (We are ignoring COVID-19 diagnoses because this is supposed to be a fun diversion, not a reminder of the terrible things happening around us.)
5 players were invited onto the Wrestling Mayhem Show for the latest round of Mayhem Mania 2021. Each can make ONE of the following changes to our card:
– SWAP one wrestler or team with one in another match on the card or replace them with a wrestler or team not currently on the card – ADD a wrestler or team to an existing match – DELETE a match in its entirety and replace it with a new match using entirely new wrestlers – SUBTRACT an individual from an exisiting match. – MATCH SWAP: This year, we have a designated “cinematic match” slot on our card. A player can choose to swap an existing match on the card for the match currently in that “cinematic match” slot.
Finally, as part of her rewards for creating a graduated match, Tina got to hand out a dose of “punishment” to one of this week’s players. The “punishment” was that the player would have to use an individual randomly chosen for them by the “Wheel Of NXT UK”. Tina chose to punish The Rizz.
With all that business out of the way, let’s take a look at the changes made during Round SIX of Mayhem Mania 2021!
Move #1 (by Brandon) ADD Damien Priest to Finn Balor vs. Aleister Black vs. Karrion Kross
Move #2 (by Mad Mike) SWAP Roman Reigns and Cesaro
Move #3 (by Dave “D.P.” Podnar) DELETE Tommaso Ciampa vs. Roman Reigns and CREATE Johnny Gargano & Candice LeRae vs. Dexter Lumis vs. Indi Hartwell
Move #4 (by Sorgatron) ADD Elias to Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Kushida
Move #5 (by The Rizz) (*The “Wheel Of NXT UK” decided he must book A-Kid) DELETE Becky Lynch vs. Rhea Ripley vs. Toni Storm and CREATE A-Kid vs. Dolph Ziggler
Round 6 is in the books, and we have FIVE newly created matches on our “undercard”
Johnny Gargano & Candice LeRae vs. Dexter Lumis vs. Indi Hartwell (Created by Dave “D.P.” Podnar)
A-Kid vs. Dolph Ziggler (Created by The Rizz)
“THE DEMON” Finn Balor vs. Aleister Black vs. Karrion Kross vs. Damien Priest (Created by Brandon)
Keith Lee vs. Pete Dunne vs. Cesaro (Created by Mad Mike)
Kushida vs. Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Elias (Created by Sorgatron)
Here are the three matches that survived the round without being altered in any way.
Bray Wyatt & Alexa Bliss vs. Johnny Mundo & Taya vs. Bad Bunny & Bayley (Created by Alex Kahrs) (*Designated as “cinematic match”)
Adam Cole vs. Daniel Bryan (Created by HEEL Bradley)
Big E vs. Bronson Reed (Created by Tina Keys)
Mad Mike will be back next week under the “Alex Kahrs Rule”, which governs a match that does not survive the round in which it was created.
Keep following along to find out what happens next. Thanks for supporting Mayhem Mania!

Wrestling Mayhem Show 616: Infinity Mayhem
Surround your Kids with Healthy Options at Home
Kids eat what is available and what they see adults eating. Surround your kids with healthy options at home and demonstrate good nutrition to encourage a lifetime of healthy eating. Healthy eating habits formed during childhood lead to a healthy life. Try out Alpilean.
Kids need different amounts of foods at different ages, genders and activity levels. Proper nutrition is key.
Parents can teach their children good eating habits by being positive role models in their own choices and by explaining to their children the importance of a balanced diet and how to choose healthy options from each food group. Learn about your child’s nutrition requirements.
Improve Your Family’s Nutrition Habits
Involve your Kids in Food Choices
Include your kids when planning the weekly family menu.
Shop for groceries together. Make a list before you go to the store and only buy foods on the list. Once in the store, let your kids help you find items on the list. Read food labels out loud and talk about the choices you are making.
Invite your child to cook with you. They are more likely to try new foods if they’ve helped to prepare them.
Hold family tastings. Buy different brands of a healthy food (whole grain pasta, for example) and let family members decide what they like best.
Snack Healthy
Healthy snack ideas include:
Fruits (sliced or cubed, applesauce or dried fruit without added sugar)
Vegetables and dips (try carrots and ranch dressing, celery sticks and peanut butter, snap peas with hummus)
Give your child a variety of healthy options, so there is no wrong choice.
Reduce Sugar
Offer water, low-fat milk or 100% fruit juice instead of juice drinks, sports drinks or soda.
Do not give sweets or candy as a reward. Try nonfood rewards or family activities instead.
Watch Your Own Habits
Never skip meals, especially breakfast.
Avoid fast-food restaurants by planning meals and snacks in advance, before leaving home.
Eat only when you are hungry. Teach (and show) healthy alternatives to eating when bored, frustrated, anxious or sad. (Exercise, reading and working on a project are good options.)
Enjoy family meals together whenever possible.
Wrestling Mayhem Show 604: Rumble with Elias
We’ve got a special guest in studio this week as we’re joined by comedian Matt Light. And, there is a ton of stuff to talk about this week, including:
Our guest Matt Light mixes wrestling with comedy. The best of both worlds.
Larry has a foam finger – but not the finger you’re thinking…
We are 1 degree of separation from Honky Tonk Man at this very moment.
RVD has a comedy (?) show?
So, RAW 25 happened last night. We’ve got plenty of thoughts.
When Christian is compared to Marty Jannetty.
We’re sharing some thoughts about the RAW 25 venue split and how WE thought it should have been done.
The APA segments of RAW 25 made the night for most of us.
Royal Rumble is this weekend. And, Dolph Ziggler is favored to win?
Our guest Matt Light is calling it now – Dolph Ziggler comes out at #30 – – – to Daniel Bryan’s theme music.
Sorg is waiting for Jason Jordan to snap. Mad Mike is waiting for a Shield break-up turn by Jordan, and Matt Light is just calling for him to get his future endeavored letter.
Why did they not have Jerry Springer on RAW 25 with a “You are not the father!” spot with Kurt Angle and Jason Jordan.
We’re takling about who we want to win the Royal Rumble this year and who we think will win.
Mainstream Matt is calling for an Elias Money In The Bank win – so we can have an MITB guitar case!
Nia Jax v. Asuka can be this generation’s Andre v. Hogan.
Will AJ Styles v. Sami and KO match be the comedy match for Royal Rumble?
Science: Shane McMahon cannot win a Royal Rumble match because he goes to the top rope too much.
Will we see Karma for the Women’s Royal Rumble?
We found some Friend of the Show folks by searching their names on the WWE Network.
This week’s Big Question: What is the future of 205 LIVE?
Abeyance is the new 205 LIVE champion! Woooooooo!
NXT Takeover is coming up soon. We’re sharing some thoughts.
What did YOU learn in wrestling this week?
As a special segment, we’re making our Royal Rumble picks:
Men’s Royal Rumble Predictions
Larry:
Wants Nakamura to win it.
Thinks Strohman will win it.
Matt Light:
Wants Dolph Ziggler to win it.
Thinks Dolph Ziggler will win it.
Matt Carlins:
