Wrestling Mayhem Show 648: A Formal Protest of Sports Entertainment
We’re back from our holiday hiatus with Mad Mike, Larry, Mainstream Matt, and Sorg! And, there’s so much happening this week. Between celebrating our podcast birthday to prepping for this year’s Mayhem Mania we’ve got plenty of hilarity, including:
We’re back after our holiday break – and we’re officially a year older as we celebrate our birthday with Sorg and the crew.
We are enjoying Mad Mike’s Becky Lynch shirt for the show tonight.
Mayhem Mania is coming up – and the playing field just changed. Things could get REALLY interesting this year.
Sorg is sporting his sweet Shawn Phoenix shirt for the show tonight!
There was a formal protest of sports entertainment that happened this evening.
Live production is tough – Sorg is speaking in his professional experience, of course.
It was great to see Friend-of-the-Show Britt Baker on the All Elite announcement.
Chris Jericho was the big reveal of the All Elite announcement.
We’re speculating on who else we may see pop up in All Elite given the talent that appeared at the conference and some of the relationships we’re aware of.
Mainstream Matt made it in time for some birthday cake!
Mainstream Matt totally rolled in with his Sam Adonis shirt. Best. Birthday. Party. Ever.
Who else watched Wrestle Kingdom 13? We’re sharing some of our thoughts.
John Cena is slowly turning into John Laurinaitis.
Mainstream Matt is crushing dreams.
The biggest thing from Wrestle Kingdom 13? Okada’s short shorts.
Ibushi and Ospreay are magic.
There are a ton of exclusive contracts in various companies – how will that affect some of the former talent team-ups we’ve seen?
This week’s Big Question:
Part 1: Who was your favorite wrestler when you were 14?
Part 2: Make a match you’d want to see with your 14-year-old wrestler and someone from today’s roster.
We’re headed back in time to 2006 – remembering what wrestling was like when the Mayhem Show was born.
Mad Mike unearthed a fan mail from Juggalo Jamie – just for our birthday celebration.
This is the part of the show where Sorg gets weepy and retrospective about all that he’s seen as a result of the podcast.
Mayhem Mania is coming. Mainstream Matt is sharing some breaking news about how this year is changing.

WMS Wrap Up 1/7/19: CatMania
It’s a new year, and an attempt at a new spin on your Monday Night Post WWE Raw wrestling chat. We’re discussing the good since we last chatted in pro wrestilng, the show that was, including the return of “Immortal” Hulk Hogan, too much Seth Rollins, and what Vince McMahon likes.
We record on Facebook LIVE! Follow us on Facebook for the link!
Wrestling Mayhem Show 605: The Return of Mayhem Mania
It’s a full house this week as we’ve got Sorg, Larry, Bobby, Mad Mike, Billy, and Mainstream Matt in studio. As a special treat, comedian Jaye Cooper joins us as we kick off Mayhem Mania! This week’s show is packed. We’re a few days removed from NXT Takeover, the Royal Rumble, and a host of other wrestling shows over the weekend – which means we have a TON to talk about:
The worst thing for Sorg – when he can’t recognize local wrestlers in their street clothes.
So much rumbling happened this weekend! We’re giving our thoughts.
Royal Rumble appearance of Rey Mysterio confused us after watching the last season of Lucha Underground.
We have mixed reviews of the return of The Hurricane from Royal Rumble.
We’re crossing the wrestling streams because of NJPW, WWE, and IMPACT happenings and shuffles.
We’re fans of all kinds of wrestling.
OH: I met him one time at a funeral…
Welcome to Wrestle Kingdom two years ago WWE fans.
The Women’s Rumble exceeded many of our expectations.
Sorg wants a Total Taker show with Undertaker and Michelle McCool.
We’re following the #JacobsForMayor campaign, because Kane.
Royal Rumble had matches other than rumbly things. Things happened.
Braun Strowman teaching Alexa Bliss how to flip a car is the best thing ever.
Mad Mike was in the same building as Ray Rowe, Ricochet, and EC3 this weekend.
We’re rebranding Ricochet as Rick O’Shea so he can keep his name.
Mad Mike and Larry are teaming up to take on War Machine for the Tag Titles.
We’re talking some NXT Takeover and Johnny Wrestling.
We’re talking some Kassius Ohno options with NXT.
Holy $#!% Adam Cole match at NXTTakeover.
As big a night Royal Rumble was for Japan, NXT Takeover was just as big for Cleveland.
This week’s Big Question: Who left from IMPACT Wrestling do you want to see pop up in WWE?
It’s Mayhem Mania time!
What did YOU learn in wrestling this week?
We learned collaboratively that Jaye Cooper thinks he can take on Ray Rowe. (For the record – we vehemently disagree.)

Wrestling Mayhem Show 595: Six Star Matches
It’s a full show this week as we’ve got Old School Burt LeGrand in studio with Sorg and Larry. As a special treat, we’ve got Tonio Garza joining us online, and Mad Mike makes a stop by in the second half. They’re talking this week in wrestling, including:
AJ Styles v Brock Lesnar? Thank you WWE.
Does this mean we’ll see AJ Styles v Shinsuke Nakamura for Starrcade?
Survivor Series 2017 – we’re talking some of our predictions and speculations.
Burt is calling for an in-ring return of Daniel Bryan?
Garza is talking some New Japan and Chris Jericho v Kenny Omega.
So – we’re getting something we normally don’t get on the show. That’s right, we’re talking some Impact Wrestling.
Apparently Alberto El Patron’s promo was just weird.
Impact Wrestling has a casting call for paid background actors?
We go from Impact Wrestling to booking nostalgia matches (The Rock v Triple H or Triple H v Kevin Owens?).
Triple H with The Shield = Perfect
It’s time for this week’s Big Question: What would your Wrestle Kingdom dream match be?
We have e-mail! (Kinda.)
Stephen Amell is going to ROH?
There was an intergender match tonight?
Pete Dunne v Enzo Amore? Larry is confused, but okay with it.

Wrestling Mayhem Show 553: Did I Get the Most Out of My $9.99
After a small bit of technical difficulty (which we turned into some great GOLD content), we put together another great show with “The Rev” Ronnell Hunt, Rizz, Aaron, Bobby and Sorg for Wrestling Mayhem Show 553.
Rizz is sharing his Christmas episode story.
Bobby is excited about the John Cena and Baron Corbin match from Smackdown tonight.
Biggest news of the week is Impact Wrestling. Guys – THEY GOT PURCHASED!
We’re stuck on the Impact Wrestling logo…
New goal: Less sighing when Mad Mike talks Impact Wrestling on our Mid Week War.
We’ve got a full house for Wrestling Mayhem Show 552! It’s the start of 2017, and we’re doing our first show in the recently renovated studio! And, it’s a full house with BC Steele, Sorg, Mutilator Larry, Mad Mike, and Rizz!
– We’re celebrating 11 years of wrestling and podcasting!
– And, we’re celebrating the return of Mad Mike. We’ve also got that BC Steele guy in studio.

– Sorg is sharing his thoughts about posting Super Indy as a Benny Hill video? Hmmmm…
– It’s time for the Big Question: If you had multiple gimmicks and could switch the timeline, what would they be? (We’re currently discussing Stunning Steve Austin and Stone Cold Steve Austin character swaps…)
– We’re discussing WWE and Vince McMahon’s trip to the White House and spinning off other celebs as President.
– What did you learn from wrestling this week?
