Mayhem Mania 2022: Week 2

This. Is. Mayhem Mania!

It’s not just the ultimate fantasy booking challenge. It’s also a competitive thought experiment!

The object of Mayhem Mania is to craft the best WrestleMania card possible within the boundaries of our current reality. That means anyone WWE can book in a match is available to our players.

But this year, there’s a twist! Mayhem Mania 2022 is a two-night event! Night 1 will be the night for our traditional Mayhem Mania card featuring WWE-related matches. But on Night 2, we open the “forbidden door” and make it possible for our players to create matches with anyone outside of WWE.

In the opening round of Mayhem Mania, our players created six matches for both our Night 1 and Night 2 cards. Now, the real fun begins. Every week, more players will arrive on the scene and make a change to one of the matches.

They can:
– KILL a match entirely and CREATE a new one with other individuals
– SWAP out an individual or team in a match for another individual or team
– SWAP out an individual or team in a match with an individual or team in another match already on the card
– ADD an individual or team to an existing match

Not everyone is currently eligible to be used in Mayhem Mania. Some are being held in a place we lovingly refer to as SPACE JAIL. Here’s the current inmate count:

  • Asuka
  • Avery Good
  • Cassie Lee
  • Commander Sterling
  • Jessie McKay
  • Miro
  • Penta El Zero Miedo
  • Rey Fenix
  • Sonny Kiss
  • Ultra Mantis Black
  • Will Ospreay
  • Ziggy Haim

Five players were on hand for last Tuesday’s Wrestling Mayhem Show. Let’s see what changes they made!

Move #1 (by Sorgatron)
SWAP Randy Orton for Elias

Move #2 (by Tina Keys)
KILL Adam Scherr vs. Jonathan Gresham and

Mayhem Mania 2022: IT BEGINS!

Mayhem Mania is back!

It’s not just the ultimate fantasy booking challenge. It’s also a competitive thought experiment!

The object of Mayhem Mania has always been to craft the best WrestleMania card possible within the boundaries of our current reality.

Reasons why it’s important to hire a professional event photographer

Updated: Aug 15, 2020

You spend weeks or even months of your time to prepare for your event. When the big day is finally there, time flies by at lightning speed. Before you know, the event has already ended and you can look back at a successful day. It would be great to be able to look back at your event in a visual way; seeing the crew work as hard as they can, seeing smiles on the faces of your visitors, seeing the speakers excel. Luckily this is possible when you hire a professional event photographer. If that hasn’t convinced you, here are some other reasons why you should hire an event photographer.

1. A professional event photographer has the right gear

A professional photographer owns the right camera and the right lenses to capture every moment perfectly. With the right gear you can create good photos in both light and dark environments. Besides owning the right gear, a professional event photographer has the knowledge to use the settings on a professional camera in the best way to get the best photos possible.

2. A professional event photographer delivers good quality photos

Everyone with a smartphone can take a photo on every moment of the day. But what is the difference of the quality of a photo taken with a smart phone compared to a professional photo? The quality difference is huge. A professional event photographer can capture every important moment at the highest quality. Do you want to use the photos to be printed on a big banner or poster? No problem, they’re big enough.

3. His profession is based on creating a good reputation as a professional event photographer

A professional photographer makes a living out of his photography, so it’s really important that he or she retains a good reputation. One unsatisfied customer can lead to bad word of mouth publicity and can cost future photography jobs. That is why a professional photographer is always eager to deliver their best work at every single job. This will lead to good reviews and eventually will lead to more work. Visit prostockmaster.

4. A professional has the right experience in photographing events

If you’re working with a professional event photographer, you’ll know he/she has the right experience to help you creating memories of your event that will last for a lifetime. An experienced photographer knows what to do, what is expected from him/her and knows how to behave on an event.

5. An event photographer can focus on your event, while you can focus on your guests.

If you have agreed to do business with each other and have discussed all the necessary things, you can take care of the most important thing: making sure the event goes as planned. With a professional photographer, you don’t have to worry about the visual aspect anymore, because you’ll know everything will be taken care of.

Mayhem Mania 2020: Round 3

This. Is. Mayhem Mania!

This is the ultimate fantasy booking game. The goal is to create the best WrestleMania card possible – not necessarily to predict what WWE will do. That means we must play by the rules of our current reality. Everyone comes in their current (physical, emotional, psychological, etc.) state. Bottom line, if Vince McMahon can do it, we can do it. (more…)

WMS Wrap Up 1/14/19: RhynoTaker

Larry, Mad Mike and Sorg are dealing with watching 3 hours of WWE Raw and Glass ads and mentions. We discuss the Lady Frost and Mick Foley from World Bigtime Wrestling – Youngstown, Elias is the WWE’s story mistrial, Sasha Banks isn’t holding back, Finn Bálor gets one over John Cena and more!

Wrestling Mayhem Show 627: 10…9…8…

This week’s episode brought to you by Slice on Broadway, Occupy Pro Wrestling, and Indy Wrestling US!

Rob Johnston joins us to talk about some Dojo Pro wrestling. He, of course, is joined by our usual stable of ne’er-do-wells including Sorg, Dave Podnar, and Alex Kahrs as they talk this week in wrestling, including:WMS 7.17.2018

  • That’s right, we’ve kidnapped Rob Johnston from the AwesomeCast podcast so we can talk Dojo Pro (among other things).
  • Extreme Rules was in Pittsburgh, and we are once again reminded why we can’t have nice things.
  • Sorg was so close at Extreme Rules that he almost took a pancake to the face.
  • Dave heard Steelers chants come through the TV feed for Extreme Rules. Sorg recalls no such chants. Were they piped in? Hmmm.
  • Things we are thankful for – The Roman Reigns v Bobby Lashley match didn’t follow the Iron Man Match at Extreme Rules.
  • We didn’t see Elias in his hometown for Extreme Rules – despite the obvious Pittsburgh references throughout.
  • Sorg is sad he didn’t get an awesome Shinsuke v Jeff Hardy match.
  • THE CROWD GOT KICKED IN THE BALLS BY SHINSUKE!
  • Rob can FEEL the wrestling in Nashville.
  • We’re taking a few moments to remember Bruno Sammartino and the history of wrestling.
  • Speaking of our guest, Rob, it was great seeing him being pushed around in the ring on a Dojo Pro video on Facebook.
  • Rob Johnston is talking about some of the fun with Dojo Pro.
  • The biggest message from Rob Johnston – Dojo Pro is bingeable!
  • Rob has some thoughts on Joey Janela.
  • It’s convenient that we’re talking with Rob Johnston on THIS episode.
  • Rob had a chance to speak with Hulk Hogan a few years back.
  • Hulk Hogan is not the same as Terry Bollea. It’s important to make separations between characters and people.
  • Some heels get crap from fans for being heels, then Kevin Owens gets the spotlight at a Shania Twain concert.
  • This week’s Big Question: Which wrestling superstar needs to release an album next?
  • Mad Mike couldn’t be here this week – so he sent a Mad Mike Mail!
  • eFeds are a thing Alex Kahrs is explaining to us.
  • Sorg is headed to the Gathering of the Juggalos, and he’ll be seeing some interesting wrestling.
  • Joey Janela is apparently facing John Cena at the Gathering of the Juggalos.
  • What did YOU learn in wrestling this week?

Mayhem Mania 2018: Week 7

This. is. Mayhem Mania!

Not quite a game. Not really a contest. More like a competitive thought experiment. The object is to create the best WrestleMania card possible – NOT necessarily to predict what WWE will do.

This is not fantasy booking. It’s more like reality booking. Any match created must have at least a chance of happening in this year’s WrestleMania. That means all wrestlers come in their current physical, emotional and contractual state. Anyone selected for a match must have a reasonable chance of being hired by WWE to appear on the real-life WrestleMania card.

Simply put, you’re Vince McMahon with infinite cash and no self-control.

Catch up with Mayhem Mania 2018: Week 1 – Week 2 – Week 3 – Week 4 – Week 5 – Week 6

Remember, any match that survives three consecutive weeks without being altered in any way GRADUATES to our SUPERCARD. So far, that’s happened only once during this year’s Mayhem Mania.

TREVOR “RICOCHET” MANN VS. PETE DUNNE
(CREATED BY @MADMIKE4883)
week2-2

That’s a pretty good start, but we’re looking for more. It’s Week 7, and we are DEEP into Mayhem Mania season with only ONE graduated match. We gotta get to work!

The first bit of business during Week 7 of Mayhem Mania was the Fastlane Challenge! We got a bunch of entries, but no one correctly predicted that AJ Styles would pin Kevin Owens to retain the WWE Championship. So, we went to the tiebreaker (total time of the match). Brandon was the winner and he gets to make the first move in this round.

Also, Mad Mike is back thanks to the “Alex Kahrs Rule”. That means he gets to make the final move of this round.

All of our players can each make a single change to the card. They have three options.

1. SWAP a wrestler/tag team for one already on the card, or bring for a name not currently on the card.
2. ADD an unused wrestler/tag team to an existing match.
3. KILL a match AND CREATE an entirely new match with wrestlers not currently on the card.

Here’s how things shook out on Episode 611 of the Wrestling Mayhem Show.

MAYHEM MANIA 2018: WEEK 7

MOVE 1: @thebdog1318
SWAP Ember Moon & Kairi Sane for Sasha Banks & Bayley

MOVE 2: @RobBrownPA78

MOVE 4: @MarcusMannBHS
SWAP Asuka for Batista

MOVE 5: @MadMike4883
ADD Rusev & Aiden English to Honky Tonk Man & Rockabilly vs. Jeff Jarrett & The Roadie

With the Week 7 moves in the books, let’s take a look at our newly created matches.

Rob’s match didn’t survive the round. Hell, it didn’t survive the next move. So, Rob is invited back to try again under the “Alex Kahrs Rule”.

Don’t forget, the thrilling Patreon In The Bank round is coming up soon. Only Patreon supporters of the Wrestling Mayhem Show will be invited to take part, and they’ll be granted incredible, far-reaching that will grant them almost godlike powers over our precious card.

What changes do you want to see made to card? Who’s missing that needs to be added? Will any more matches graduate? Honestly, it’s taking a while. A couple other matches have come close, but nothing else has been able to get over the hump.

Anyway, thanks for supporting Mayhem Mania!

Catch up with Mayhem Mania 2018: Week 1 – Week 2 – Week 3 – Week 4 – Week 5

Week 5 set up all sorts of interesting possibilities in Mayhem Mania. First, he saw our first match survive three straight weeks without being altered in any way and GRADUATE to the SUPERCARD.

There’s no going back for that match. It’s locked in, and its creator gets a big pile of rewards. First, Mad Mike had to CREATE a new match to fill the open slot in our “undercard”.

Pre-Round Move (by @MadMike4883)
CREATE Asuka vs. John Cena

Mad Mike also gets an ELIMINATOR, which he can use at any time to permanently remove any person from this year’s Mayhem Mania talent pool. One catch: You can’t use the ELIMINATOR on someone who’s currently booked in a match. Mad Mike decided to hold onto his ELIMINATOR and use it in a later round.

Mad Mike also got to hand out a dose of punishment to one of this week’s players. He decided to give it to our special guest on WMS 610, Lucha Underground Co-Executive Producer Chris DeJoseph. More on that in a moment.

Here’s how things shook out on Episode 610 of the Wrestling Mayhem Show.

Mayhem Mania 2018: Week 6

Move 1: @MutilatorLarry
SWAP Velveteen Dream for The Rock

Move 2: @Bobbyfjtown

This weekend, we’re playing the FastLane Challenge! Send an email to [email protected]. Tell us WHO AJ Styles will defeat to retain the WWE Championship (or, tell us who will take the title from him). Also, include the total time of the match for the tiebreaker. The winner gets their move used in the next round of Mayhem Mania AND that player will get an ELIMINATOR.

Thanks for being part of Mayhem Mania, and join us for next week’s episode entitled “Beastman For Rookie Of The Year” or “I Told You Double J Deserved To Be On This Card!”.

Catch up with Mayhem Mania 2018: Week 1 – Week 2 – Week 3 – Week 4

What an eventful Week 5 in Mayhem Mania 2018. First, Dave Podnar was the winner of the first ELIMINATION CHAMBER CHALLENGE! He correctly predicted Roman Reigns would win the men’s Chamber match and earned himself the right to make the first move in Week 5. We’ll be doing a FASTLANE CHALLENGE as well. Check out TALKING Mayhem Mania for more on that.

In Week 5 of Mayhem Mania 2018, each of our five players were invited to make a single change to the card. They have FOUR options.

1. SWAP a wrestler/tag team for one already on the card, or bring for a name not currently on the card.
2. ADD an unused wrestler/tag team to an existing match.
3. KILL a match AND CREATE an entirely new match with wrestlers not currently on the card.
4. SUBTRACT anyone person or team from the card. (This option as available exclusively during Week 5 of Mayhem Mania)

With all that said, here’s how it will went down on Episode 609 of the Wrestling Mayhem Show.

Mayhem Mania 2018: Week 5

As creator of the graduating match, Mad Mike is entitled to several rewards. First, and most necessary, he will create a new match to fill the open slot in our “undercard” before the Week 6 moves commence. He’ll get to hand out a dose of punishment to another player. Finally, he’ll get an ELIMINATOR, which he can use at any time to ELIMINATE any human being not currently on our card from being eligible for use in this year’s Mayhem Mania.

In addition, Mad Mike is the latest application of the “Alex Kahrs Rule” due to his match not surviving to the end of Week 5’s round. Thus, he will get the last move in Week 6. That’s right. He’s not only batting lead-off, he’s batting cleanup too. God help us all.

For those of you that just can’t get enough Mad Mike, here he is taking part in the 10-minute giggle fest that was this past week’s episode of the HOTTEST show on the internet: TALKING Mayhem Mania!

Thanks for being part of Mayhem Mania, and join us for next week’s episode entitled “Beastman For Rookie Of The Year” or “I Told You Double J Deserved To Be On This Card!”.

Catch up with Mayhem Mania 2018: Week 1 – Week 2 – Week 3

Before we get into what’s happened, I must mention what’s coming next. We’ll be doing a special Viewer’s Choice move in our next round and instead of using fate to randomly choose which of your moves to use, we’ll be adding some skill into the mix with the ELIMINATION CHAMBER CHALLENGE!

Here’ how it works: When you send in your move, also give us your prediction for who will win Sunday’s men’s Elimination Chamber match and total time for the match (the tiebreaker will be decided by whoever came the closest without going over). We’ll reward the correct prediction by using your move in next week’s round. What a deal!

We had two players back for Week 4 of Mayhem Mania 2018 under the “Alex Kahrs Rule”, Kyle Turner andBobbyfjtown.
