Not quite a game. Not really a contest. More like a competitive thought experiment. The object is to create the best WrestleMania card possible – NOT necessarily to predict what WWE will do.
This is not fantasy booking. It’s more like reality booking. Any match created must have at least a chance of happening in this year’s WrestleMania. That means all wrestlers come in their current physical, emotional and contractual state. Anyone selected for a match must have a reasonable chance of being hired by WWE to appear on the real-life WrestleMania card.

For those of you who are just joining us, here’s where you can catch up on Mayhem Mania 2019: Opening Round – Round 1 – Round 2 – Round 3

WMS Wrap Up 2/11/19: Revival Identification
Sorg and Mad Mike are kicking off with Sorg talking about his long weekend with Triton Fights, Revenge Pro Wrestling and Black Diamond Universe and Mike’s experience at WWE NXT in Poughkeepsie, NY. Then we get into why WWE is ruining our dream match with a little Flair, more Elias-is-in-trouble debate, identifying The Revival with their new tag team championship and more from WWE Raw.
Sorg, Mad Mike and Larry are joined by Ronnie Starks in studio this week. The boys are on their best behavior to avoid being cited for violations by the MtOSHA rep as they talk this week in wrestling, including:
Ronnie Starks is showing off the BDW Guiness World Record trophy on this week’s show.
RAW is snore.
Sorg and Mad Mike are sharing some thoughts on where the Monday night show goes on a shame spiral.
Anyone else notice that The Revival is getting screwed lately?
205 Live talent is appearing more and more on the other shows. Does this mean we’re looking at 205 Dead in 2019?
It looks like Daniel Bryan is wrestling all the people he’s wanted to. Evidence that his career with WWE is coming to an end?
WWE Evolution went so well that they’re doing more women’s wrestling focus. Are we looking at a Queen of the Ring event?
Up Up Down Down at the largest video game collection on the planet?
Sorg is excited that Heavy Metal Jesus is now canon thanks to Edge and Christian!
In case you wanted to book Ric Flair to wrestle, he has been medically cleared for in-ring action.
We thought Rhyno was retiring, but it turns out he’s not.
Dojo Pro is now on Facebook Watch.
We’re talking tattoos, but not THAT tattoo.
We want to see a Green Arrow vs Green Ranger match.
This week’s Big Question: Which wrestler has had the biggest fashion violation?
We have a bit of a crossover with our guest Ronnie Starks as he went to ScareHouse and visited The Basement for their Christmas event.
Our friends at IWC Wrestling made some news with their recent show.
Sorg is sharing how creative fans get with fans-bring-the-weapons matches.

Mayhem Mania 2018: Week 4
This. is. Mayhem Mania!
Not quite a game. Not really a contest. More like a competitive thought experiment. The object is to create the best WrestleMania card possible – NOT necessarily to predict what WWE will do.

Before we get into what’s happened, I must mention what’s coming next. We’ll be doing a special Viewer’s Choice move in our next round and instead of using fate to randomly choose which of your moves to use, we’ll be adding some skill into the mix with the ELIMINATION CHAMBER CHALLENGE!
Here’ how it works: When you send in your move, also give us your prediction for who will win Sunday’s men’s Elimination Chamber match and total time for the match (the tiebreaker will be decided by whoever came the closest without going over). We’ll reward the correct prediction by using your move in next week’s round. What a deal!
We had two players back for Week 4 of Mayhem Mania 2018 under the “Alex Kahrs Rule”, Kyle Turner andBobbyfjtown. All of our players can each make a single change to the card. They have three options.
1. SWAP a wrestler/tag team for one already on the card, or bring for a name not currently on the card.
2. ADD an unused wrestler/tag team to an existing match.
3. KILL a match AND CREATE an entirely new match with wrestlers not currently on the card.

Welcome to Week 2 of Mayhem Mania. Last week, we created the eight matches that make up the framework for our card of incredible matches. Now, the real fun begins. On Episode 606 of the Wrestling Mayhem Show, five players were invited to each make a single change to the card. They had three options.
1. SWAP a wrestler/tag team for one already on the card, or bring for a name not currently on the card.
2. ADD an unused wrestler/tag team to an existing match.

Wrestling Mayhem Show 603: Rowe, Rowe, Rowe Your Boat – Right to WWE
The snow may be accumulating here in Pittsburgh, that won’t keep us from podcasting! We’ve got “The Bearcat” Keith Haught, Mad Mike, and Rizz on remote with Sorg in studio manning the switcher as we talk about this week in wrestling:
Mad Mike may have a shot at the WWE tagteam championship. He’s telling us all about it.
WWE has some new talent coming to the performance center, including some Friend of the Show nods!
Mad Mike is calling for War Machine v. The Revival. We’ve got grins like it’s Christmas morning over here.
Keith Haught is putting over Ray Rowe as we’re talking some of his history in IWC Wrestling.
So, Stephanie McMahon tweeted about an RMU class here in Pittsburgh this week.
RAW 25 is next week – and we’re SO EXCITED!
We’re calling for Damien Sandow to come back as Damien Demento for RAW 25.
Our favorite moment of the Braun Strowman rampage on RAW? Cake guy.
With some of the recent news developments regarding WWE superstars, we’re talking about how things have changed with how it’s handled.
This week’s Big Question: What is your LEAST favorite RAW moment?
We missed Mad Mike’s 2018 predictions during our year-end show, but he DID e-mail us (we just missed it). He is sharing his predictions now.
Sorg has been looking at alternative options for watching wrestling. He’s sharing his thoughts.
We’re discovering that Impact Wrestling and Twitch mean different things for Mad Mike and Sorg.
Sorg is interested in watching Friend of the Show RJ City on Impact Wrestling.
What did YOU learn in wrestling this week?
Mad Mike learned that Braun Strowman beat Optimus Prime on RAW last night!
Sorg wants to thank Black Diamond Wrestling for making 305 Live a legit thing with their Hoss Tournament.

Mayhem Mania 2017: Patreon In The Bank!!!
This. is. Mayhem Mania!
Not quite a game. Not really a contest. More like a competitive thought experiment. The object is to create the best WrestleMania card possible – NOT necessarily to predict what WWE will do.
This is not fantasy booking (even though it kind of is). Any match created must be possible in real life. That means all wrestlers come in their current physical, emotional and contractual state. Anyone selected for a match must have a reasonable chance of being hired by WWE to appear on the real-life WrestleMania card. Simply put, you’re Vince McMahon with infinite cash and no self-control.
Many weeks ago, we started our journey by creating 8 matches for our card. Then, we started making changes…and more changes…and even more changes. It wasn’t always pretty. Here’s where you can catch up on what happened during Round 1, Round 2, Round 3, Round 4, Round 5, Round 6, Round 7 and Round 8. Any match that survived 3 rounds of Mayhem Mania without being altered in any way, GRADUATED to the SUPERCARD, creating room for new and even more fantastic match ideas. This process led to three graduated matches.
All this hard work and hurt feelings led to the epic Patreon In The Bank round of Mayhem Mania, in which the Patreon supporters of the Wrestling Mayhem Show were invited to make multiple changes, fast-track matches to the SUPERCARD and much more. (more…)
