Mayhem Mania 2017: Round 7
This. is. Mayhem Mania!
Not quite a game. Not really a contest. More like a competitive thought experiment. The object is to create the best WrestleMania card possible – NOT necessarily to predict what WWE will do.
This is not fantasy booking (even though it kind of is). Any match created must be possible in real life. That means all wrestlers come in their current physical, emotional and contractual state. Anyone selected for a match must have a reasonable chance of being hired by WWE to appear on the real-life WrestleMania card. Simply put, you’re Vince McMahon with infinite cash and no self-control.
We started by creating 8 matches for our card. Then, we started making changes. Here’s where you can catch up on those made in Round 1, Round 2, Round 3, Round 4, Round 5 and Round 6. If a match survives 3 rounds of Mayhem Mania without being altered in any way, it GRADUATES to the SUPERCARD, creating room for new and even more fantastic match ideas. So far, we’ve graduated three matches.

When a match GRADUATES, its creator gets rewarded. The latest to earn this honor was Mad Mike.
First, Mad Mike got to CREATE a new match: Undertaker vs. John Cena. Second, he got to DELETE a wrestler, eliminating him/her from being used in this year’s Mayhem Mania. Mad Mike chose to DELETE Goldberg (He joins our other DELETED wrestlers, Ryback and Titus O’Neil). Finally, Mad Mike got to hand out a dose of “punishment” to one of this week’s players. Mad Mike chose to give it to Chad The Shad. This week, the “punishment” was that Chad must use a wrestler randomly selected by the spectacularly crowded Wheel Of 205 Live.
The wheel selected Gran Metalik for Chad The Shad to use.
That brings us to this week’s players. They had the usual three options this past Tuesday night on Wrestling Mayhem Show 561.
1. SWAP a wrestler/tag team for one already on the card, or bring for a name not currently on the card.
2. ADD an unused wrestler/tag team to an existing match.
3. KILL a match AND CREATE an entirely new match with wrestlers not curretly on the card.
